Matej Majeric, PhD

Matej Majeric, PhD, is an assistant professor of kinesiology at the Faculty of Sport at the University of Ljubljana. He teaches courses such as Sport and Healthy Lifestyle, Fundamentals of Movement in Sport and Fitness for prospective kinesiologists, coaches, PE teachers and physicians. His research focuses on the lifestyle and physical activity of children and adolescents. Through his work, he aims to encourage children and young people to engage in physical activity and have a healthy lifestyle.

Borko Katanić, PhD

Montenegrin Sports Academy

Dr. Borko Katanić earned his PhD in Sports Sciences from the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Niš, Serbia, with research focused on the motor and cognitive development of preschool children. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Sport Mont Journal (ISSN 1451-7485; indexed in the Scopus database), published by the Montenegrin Sports Academy, Montenegro.

Damir Sekulić, PhD

Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split

Prof. Dr. Damir Sekulić is a tenured professor at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split, Croatia. He holds a PhD in Kinesiology, an MSc in Physical Education, and an MEd in Physical Education from the University of Zagreb. His teaching and research focus on training fundamentals, sport and exercise analysis, research methods in kinesiology, public health in sport, performance measurement protocols, and the issue of substance misuse in athletics. He has supervised more than ten doctoral students and led several national and international research projects, including studies on agility development, the impact of COVID-19 on physical fitness, and the detection of prohibited substances in sport. Beyond academia, he served as a strength and conditioning coach for the Croatian Olympic sailing team and the Croatian national water polo team, contributing to notable international medal achievements, including the silver medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. For his scientific and professional contributions, he has received multiple awards, including the University of Split Award for Science and Arts and the Rector's Award of the University of Zagreb. He is also an active member of the European College of Sport Science and the National Strength and Conditioning Association in the USA.

Spalević Velibor, PhD

Biotechnical Faculty, University of Montenegro

Prof. Dr. Velibor Spalević built his academic career in the fields of ecological engineering, natural resource management and in part - physical geography. After completing his doctoral studies at the University of Belgrade, he has been engaged at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Montenegro, while also lecturing in Study program of geography, soil science, and environmental management. His professional experience includes leading roles as Senior manager of in international projects of the European Commission, UN IFAD, and numerous global research initiatives in ecology, and geosciences. He has published about 550 scientific contributions, including over 170 papers in international journals (130 SCI), and developed the several scientific models for ecological assessment, applied internationally. His work links geography and ecology with sustainable - rural development, and the promotion of Montenegro’s natural resources in science and practice.

Gabriela Luptáková, PhD

FIEPS (International Federation of Physical Education)

PaedDr. Gabriela Luptáková, PhD., is a leading expert in Physical Education (PE) and sport pedagogy, recognized for her extensive experience in curriculum innovation and international academic leadership. She holds a PhD in Sport Educology from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport (FTVŠ UK) in Bratislava. Dr. Luptáková serves as an Assistant Professor at FTVŠ UK, where she teaches subjects related to PE pedagogy and didactics, including General Didactics. She is also the Faculty CEEPUS Coordinator, managing the university’s participation in the Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies (CEEPUS) network. Her practical teaching experience spans international school contexts, including the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme's Primary Years (PYP) and Middle Years (MYP) levels. Nationally, she has advised on curriculum as a member of the expert group for the 'Health and Movement' educational area at the National Institute of Education and Youth (NIVAM). Internationally, Dr. Luptáková holds a key leadership role within the International Federation of Physical and Sports Education (FIEPS). She has served as the Chair of the European section of "FIEPS New Leaders" since 2015 and was appointed General Secretary for Europe in January 2025.
