Abstract Guidelines

Prepare your abstract and digital poster for MontenegroSport Scientific Conference 2026. Review the accepted fields, required abstract structure and presentation specifications before submitting your work.

Who can submit?

Research scholars and students are invited to present original work related to any conference sub-theme.

Presentation format

Authors will prepare and submit digital poster presentations for the scientific programme.

Publication

Accepted abstracts will be published in a special issue of the Montenegrin Journal of Sport Science and Medicine.

Conference sub-themes

The conference welcomes work from the fields listed below. This list is not exhaustive, and authors should not feel limited by the stated topics. Relevant multi- and interdisciplinary research is also encouraged.

Submission guidelines

Please follow every requirement below. Consistent formatting helps the scientific committee review and prepare accepted abstracts for publication.

  1. Maximum length

    The complete abstract must not exceed 250 words, including the title, authors and institutional affiliations.

  2. Required abstract structure

    The abstract must contain the following four sections:

    [1] Purpose [2] Methods [3] Results [4] Conclusion
  3. Character formatting

    Use only ASCII characters. Avoid non-standard or hidden characters copied from word-processing programs such as Microsoft Word.

  4. No tables or graphs

    Tables, figures, charts and graphs must not be included in the abstract submission.

  5. Abbreviations and references

    Keep abbreviations to a minimum and do not include reference citations in the abstract.
